Class title: The Duel in Sixteenth Century Italy
Class description: A gentleman’s way of resolving disputes. Dueling culture was pervasive throughout upper class Italian circles and knowing how to engage in one properly consisted of a large part of a young gentle’s cultural education. This class will be focusing in one what a duel actually looked like, what cultural context could have produced so many, and how you might gain the rules were ever for you to find yourself ensnared in a dispute of honor.
